“Hwy 280 Flowers” coaster set

We are a family who loves nature…quiet countryside…birdsong…nothing but the sound of the peepers at night. Yet here we were living in the second largest city in Alabama, not even a sidewalk nearby to walk on.

One night we decided we would put up with the noise and took a walk along the busy highway. And there I found them. The flowers…who found a way to bloom in the city just as they did in the country.

And they taught me a lesson.
