1. General Information
All artwork and products listed on this Site are original, handmade mixed media creations
made by Kari Orvis. Each piece is created using a combination of acrylic paint, natural
botanicals, wood, texture mediums, and protective varnishes. Due to the unique and
handmade nature of each piece, no two artworks are identical.

2. Use of Natural Materials
Our mixed media artworks may include preserved natural materials such as flowers, leaves,
bark, seeds, sand, or other organic elements. These materials have been carefully dried,
sealed, and preserved, but natural variations and gradual changes in appearance may occur
over time. By purchasing these artworks, you acknowledge and accept the inherent variability
and organic nature of the materials used.

3. Product Images and Descriptions
We strive to represent each artwork accurately through photographs and descriptions.
However, colors, textures, and fine details may appear slightly different on screen due to
lighting and settings. We do not guarantee that your monitor’s or phone's display will perfectly reflect the actual product.

4. Orders and Payment
All prices are listed in USD. Payment must be made in full at the time of order. We accept
payments via standard online methods. Orders are subject to availability and confirmation of
payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product
unavailability, errors in pricing or description, or suspected fraudulent activity.

5. Shipping and Delivery
(Currently we are only set up to ship to the United States of America)
Artwork is packaged carefully to ensure safe delivery. Shipping times vary by location and
carrier; estimated delivery dates are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Buyers are
responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for packages
lost or delayed due to incorrect addresses or carrier issues.

6. Returns and Exchanges
Due to the unique and handmade nature of each artwork, all sales are final. We do not accept
returns, refunds, or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged. If your artwork arrives
damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the damage
and packaging. We will review your claim and determine an appropriate solution
(replacement, repair, or refund).

7. Care and Display
Mixed media artworks should be displayed indoors only, away from direct sunlight, humidity,
or extreme temperature changes. Avoid placing artwork in bathrooms, kitchens, or areas with
excessive moisture. (see full Care Policy)

8. Intellectual Property
All artworks, images, designs, text, and content on this Site are the intellectual property of Kari
Orvis and Film and Canvas, and are protected by copyright law. Purchasing an artwork does
not grant you any rights to reproduce, copy, resell, or distribute the image or design for
commercial use. You may not use our content for promotional or commercial purposes
without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability
We make no guarantees that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
arising from the use of our Site or Products, including but not limited to color variation, natural
aging of materials, or display-related issues.

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy,
available at filmandcanvas.com. By using our Site, you consent to the collection and use of
your data as outlined in that policy.
